ABSTRACT
Observation:
Amyloidosis represents a group of diseases characterized by amyloid deposition, which may trigger dysfunction in several organs, including the skin. Amyloidosis can be classified as either systemic or cutaneous; both primary and secondary forms can occur. Primary localized cutaneous nodular amyloidosis (PLCNA) is the rarest cutaneous presentation of amyloidosis. Treatment of PLCNA is difficult. The rate of local recurrence is high after all forms of treatment. We present the case of a 38-year-old Turkish male with PLCNA, which developed on both sides of the nose. Cryotherapy was successful.
